1st Richmond Scout Group at Remembrance Day 2025

On Sunday 9th November 2025, members of 1st Richmond Scout Group proudly took part in the Richmond Remembrance Day Parade and Service to honour those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, leaders, and parent volunteers gathered in full uniform to join the wider community in a moment of reflection and respect. Marching alongside local schools, veterans, and community groups, our young people represented the values of duty, respect, and remembrance that Scouting holds dear.

At the memorial service, our Scouts laid a wreath on behalf of the Group to pay tribute to the fallen. The two minutes’ silence was impeccably observed, and the behaviour and pride shown by all our members was truly commendable.

We would like to thank the organisers of the Richmond service, the Royal British Legion, and all those who supported the event. A special thank you also goes to our leaders and parents who ensured everyone was prepared and proudly representing 1st Richmond.

It was a powerful reminder of the importance of community, remembrance, and gratitude — values that continue to guide us every day in Scouting.

“We will remember them.”
